Across oceans. Between markets. Connected by careful planning.
01 / INTERNATIONAL SEA TRANSPORT
Sea & ocean transport and freight shipping in Pakistan.
Malco Pakistan brings longstanding experience to sea freight services. Ocean freight is the international movement of goods by sea, offering a practical shipping option for many types of cargo.
Goods travel aboard ships, with shipping options selected according to their size, volume and handling requirements. Container shipping, also known as containerization, is a common approach for transporting dry and packaged goods.
Container shipping supports organized handling and transfer of goods. Two common service options are full container load and less than container load.
01 / FCL
Full Container Load
FCL gives your shipment exclusive use of one or more containers. The container carries your goods rather than sharing space with other shippers’ cargo. Malco Pakistan helps coordinate FCL transportation and the associated shipment requirements.
02 / LCL
Less than Container Load
LCL is suited to goods that do not require a full container. Your cargo shares container space with other shipments, with costs based on the space and service required.
Careful packing, consolidation and handling are essential. Malco Pakistan helps clients plan LCL shipments and choose suitable FCL or LCL services according to their cargo and budget.
03 / SHIP USING OCEAN FREIGHT
One coordinated journey. From origin to destination.
A freight forwarder such as Malco Pakistan coordinates cargo pickup, handling, container loading and shipping arrangements, along with the onward delivery requirements agreed for the shipment.
The sales contract and agreed international shipping terms help define the responsibilities of the parties. Common Incoterms include Free On Board (FOB), Ex Works (EXW) and Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). Once the terms are agreed, the shipment can move through the following stages.
